   And as for the long term relationships, not just the “dating scene”

   People always feel like they need to “work things out” with people who they aren’t really even compatible with. Goddamnit, I thought dating was about finding what’s right for you, not signing a contract to be each other’s ego strokers. People are just obsessed with the idea of love, not the idea of becoming a better person. I don’t care what it is about this person or that person, if you’re miserable sometimes, you’re miserable.

   No friend gets in the way of your personal growth. No relationship exists without friendship and mutual respect. It shouldn’t have to be that hard.
